Who we are
A science-based consulting and research company.
We work on problems where data is complex, models matter and decisions carry consequences.
Our approach combines mathematical modeling, statistics, computational methods and scientific reasoning to turn information into understanding, and understanding into better-informed decisions.
Research creates knowledge, methods and models. Consulting applies them to real problems, and brings back the questions that shape the next piece of research.
Three names
A platform, an operator, an author.
We keep them distinct because they do not carry the same responsibilities. Our research can criticise a platform we operate without the operator having to defend itself.
Hodologic
The company. It runs consulting engagements and operates the platforms it builds, such as GIA.

The entity that signs methodological work: papers, reports, methods and their stated limits.
